PRIVATE BILLING

We are a privately billing practice.

The appointment fees are located below!

- Standard Consultation for 1 simple issue -- $90

- Long Consultation for 2-3 issues -- $160.00

- Prolonged Consultation, greater than 45 minutes -- $280

(please note, consultations are eligible for a Medicare rebate)

Health Care Card Holders
Circumstantial situations as discussed with your doctor

We use Medicare Easyclaim which allows instantaneous rebate to your EFTPOS Cheque or Savings (not Credit) account at the time of payment. For the standard consultation you will be rebated $42.85 and for the long consultation, you will be rebated $82.90. Please feel free to discuss any payment issues with your doctor.

WHY WE SWITCHED TO PRIVATE BILLING

Due to Medicare rebate freezes, escalating costs and inflation, maintaining a free clinic is increasingly untenable. Therefore, we have switched to a privately billed clinic.

However, there will be no gap fee for the following services

Shared Antenatal Care
Child Vaccines or scheduled health checks
DVA
Children under 16 years of age
GP management plans
Age relevant health assessments
Families with more than one sick child seen on the same day (subsequent children will be bulk billed)

WALK-INS

At CMP, we operate by appointments only to provide timely, focused care for every patient. This helps reduce wait times and allows our team to prepare properly for each visit.

IRON INFUSION

Iron Infusions attract a $122.15 gap for the service. Please consult with Dr Tony Girgis for further information if you are not a regular patient of Cronulla Medical Practice prior to consenting.

TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS

We currently do not offer telehealth services. At CMP, we’re committed to providing the highest quality of care through in-person appointments, where our doctors can thoroughly assess and treat your health concerns.

We value face-to-face interactions and the strong doctor-patient relationships they foster. While we may explore telehealth in the future, your well-being remains our top priority through personal, hands-on care.

PROCEDURES

Procedures attract a non-rebatable fee, which covers the resources used and follow up. Please discuss with your doctor prior to consenting.
